Dan Slott, renowned for his work on Marvel properties like The Amazing Spider-Man, She-Hulk, and Fantastic Four, is the author of Superman Unlimited. Although Slott wrote some DC novels in his early career, such as Batman Adventures and Arkham Asylum: Living Hell, he has spent the last 20 years working exclusively for Marvel. Superman Unlimited changes that at last.

According to DC group editor Paul Kaminski Superman Unlimited builds upon the basis of DC’s Superman books in the same manner that Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness’s Superman/Batman did in the early 2000s.

Just before James Gunn’s Superman is released on July 11, Superman Unlimited #1 will debut on May 21.
