At the CES tech trade exhibition in Las Vegas, Nvidia debuted its next generation gaming graphics cards. Jensen Huang, the CEO of the firm, said that the RTX 5090 card and three other models would be using “Blackwell” architectural chips.

Nvidia claims that the RTX 5090, when paired with DLSS 4.0, delivers up to twice the performance of its predecessor, the RTX 4090.

Nvidia’s fourth-generation DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology will be a key feature of the RTX 50 Series GPUs. This innovative technology boosts performance by rendering images at lower resolutions and then reconstructing them at higher resolutions using advanced artificial intelligence. According to an Nvidia executive, DLSS 4.0 raises the bar for image quality by utilizing cutting-edge AI transformer models. The result is sharper visuals, smoother frame rates, and a more immersive gaming experience, establishing a new benchmark for AI-powered graphics rendering.
