One of the all-time greatest manga series, Naruto, is getting a big screen adaptation. Goal Daniel Cretton, who co-wrote and directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, a Marvel Studios film, has been chosen to write and direct a live-action version of the same name for Lionsgate.
Through Jeyun Munford’s business, Hisako, Cretton will collaborate on productions as well. Along with Jeremy Latcham (Dungeons & Dragons), the pair joins Arad Productions’ Ari Arad, Emmy Yu, and Avi Arad, who are behind the studio’s upcoming video game adaption Borderlands.
