Only a few days before CES 2024 in Las Vegas begins next week, TLG has unveiled a new range of OLED TVs. Unexpectedly, the LG Signature OLED M4 and OLED G4 TVs come equipped with an upgraded AI processor that provides four times the performance of the models from the previous year. Compared to its predecessor, the Alpha 11 AI processor offers a 70% increase in visual performance during gaming, improving both picture and audio quality. According to reports, the AI chip analyzes and modifies colors to “best convey the mood and emotional elements intended by filmmakers” and upscales objects and backgrounds to reduce blur. In order to improve dialogue, the AI chip can even separate vocals from soundtracks and enable virtual surround sound.

This development represents a significant leap in the realm of home entertainment technology, ushering in an era where AI-enhanced processors are not only optimizing visual and audio output but also enhancing the overall viewing experience. With an emphasis on catering to the specific intentions of filmmakers, the AI chip brings a new level of artistry and authenticity to the viewing experience, ensuring that the content is faithfully represented as intended. Furthermore, the advancements in visual performance during gaming are poised to elevate the gaming experience for enthusiasts, with improved clarity, smoothness, and overall immersion. As the industry continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with AI integration, consumers can anticipate a future where their home entertainment systems deliver unparalleled quality and innovation. The unveiling of these OLED TVs underscores a shift towards a more intelligent and responsive viewing experience, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of television technology.
